Dearborn Station is one of these buildings; it’s Chicago’s oldest train station that had been converted into office and retail spaces. Some South Loop residences were once factory lofts and warehouses. These conversions give the area a very unique and cool vibe.

This section is an extension of Grant Park, sometimes called “Chicago’s front yard” by the locals. At Grant Park, you can check out events like the Chicago Blues Festival and the Taste of Chicago. The community is also home to Soldier Field, a place where sports fans watch football games. The Chicago Bears play its home games at this field. Northerly Island is easily accessible and a great place to go for a taste of nature. It’s filled with wildlife habitats, walking/biking trails, an amphitheater, and a lagoon.
