Noble Square is a Chicagoan community located between Ukrainian Village and Wicker Park. It’s believed to be the namesake of Eckhart Park, a local park with a distinct square shape. During the 20th century, Polish immigrants settled in the area. Today, there are a few remnants of Polish ties in Noble Square that include the cathedrals Holy Trinity Polish Mission and St. Stanislaus Kostka.
Noble Square offers a variety of shopping, dining, and nightlife options. Some of its most upscale restaurants are so popular that many diners book them a month in advance. This neighborhood also has low-key places like sports bars with giant televisions and pool tables. If you’re in the mood for a play or a poetry reading, you can visit Chopin Theatre, a very popular performing arts venue. As mentioned earlier, Eckhart Park is a squared-shaped park and the only park in the community. At 8.12 acres, it’s a small, but fun place with a swimming pool, a playground, sports fields, and other delightful amenities. This charming neighborhood is in close proximity to Downtown Chicago. In fact it’s so close you can look out of your window and see the Willis Tower. Noble Square is a family-friendly destination that has seven schools in its vicinity: two public elementary schools, two charter schools, and three private schools.
The majority of real estate properties in Noble Square are diverse and full of history. Many Noble Square homes were built between the years 1900 and 1939. They consist of lofts, townhouses, single-family dwellings, and low-rise multifamily units sure to accommodate the needs of most home buyers. Some homes have bonus features like unfinished basements and garages. This community also has condos and affluent houses that are located along Ashland Avenue and Noble Street.
